Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: 21 October 2026
1. Agreement
By registering for the GAICC AI Governance Conference in Kuala Lumpur (the conference) through this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not complete a registration.
If you book for a group or register other people, you must make sure they know about and accept these terms.
2. The event
The conference takes place on Sunday 24 January 2027, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM MYT, at The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur, 5 Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin, 50000 Kuala Lumpur. It is organised by the Global AI Certification Council (GAICC).
The programme, speakers and session times may change. We will publish any changes on this website. A change to the programme is not a reason for a refund.
If we need to, we may move the conference to another venue in Kuala Lumpur. Your ticket stays valid.
3. Tickets and prices
- All prices are in Malaysian ringgit (MYR).
- Member or early bird: MYR 488. Open to active GAICC members, and to anyone who books by 24 December 2026.
- Standard: MYR 788 for non-members from 25 December 2026.
- Group: MYR 488 per delegate for 5 to 200 delegates from one organisation, booked in one registration.
- The member rate needs an active GAICC membership, checked through your GAICC Hub account when you book.
- If a booking does not meet the conditions of the rate paid, we will contact you to pay the difference or to refund you.
- Each ticket admits one person. Tickets may not be resold for profit.
- If a ticket is sold at a price that is clearly wrong because of a pricing error, we may cancel the booking and refund it in full.
4. Payment
Payment is taken securely by Stripe at checkout. Your invoice is emailed to you after payment. If you believe a billing error occurred (for example, a duplicate charge), contact support@gaicc.org with your receipt details.
If you dispute a payment with your bank before contacting us, we may hold the related tickets until the dispute is resolved.
5. HRDF registrations
- If you register through HRDF, no payment is taken when you submit your details. We send your registration details to you and to your HR contact.
- An HRDF registration does not confirm that HRD Corp will approve funding. Please check with your HR team first.
- If funding is not approved, your organisation remains responsible for paying the registration fee before the conference.
6. Refunds and cancellations
Refunds are available up to 30 days before the event. After that, tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to another person.
Refund requests must be sent in writing to support@gaicc.org. Approved refunds are paid back to the original payment method.
7. Unforeseen circumstances
- Some events are outside our control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, public health orders, travel or public gathering restrictions, strikes, transport disruption, venue closure or safety threats.
- If one of these events affects the conference, we may postpone it, move it to another venue, or hold it online. Your ticket stays valid for the new date, venue or online event.
- If you cannot attend a new date, you can ask for a refund within 14 days of the announcement.
- If we cancel the conference and do not hold it at a later date, we will refund the price you paid for your ticket.
- We are not responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs you have paid. We recommend that you take out travel insurance.
8. Transfers
- Tickets are transferable if you can no longer attend. Please notify our team at least 7 days before the event so we can update attendee details.
- Group bookings can change delegate names by emailing support@gaicc.org at least 7 days before the event.
9. At the conference
- Attendees must be 18 or older.
- Please bring your ticket confirmation and photo ID. We may refuse entry if we cannot confirm your booking.
- We expect everyone to treat others with respect. We may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who is abusive, disruptive or unsafe, without a refund.
- You must follow the venue's rules and the instructions of our team and venue staff.
- You are responsible for your belongings. We are not responsible for items that are lost, stolen or damaged.
- We cannot guarantee that food served at the conference is free from allergens. Please speak to venue staff about any dietary needs or serious allergy.
- Photographs and video are taken at the conference. See our Privacy Policy for how they are used.
10. Sessions, materials and recordings
- Sessions are for general information and education. They are not legal, financial or professional advice.
- Views shared by speakers and panellists are their own and are not necessarily those of GAICC.
- Presentations, materials and recordings belong to GAICC or the speakers. You may not record, copy, stream or share them without our written permission.
- Certificates of participation for the practical workshop are issued by GAICC.
- Sponsors and exhibitors are responsible for their own products and services. Their presence is not an endorsement by GAICC.
11. Your details
The details you give when you register are used to organise your attendance and to contact you about the conference. They are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy for the conference.
12. Our liability
- To the extent permitted by law, GAICC is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including travel or accommodation costs, lost income or lost opportunities.
- To the extent permitted by law, GAICC's total liability to you is limited to the price you paid for your ticket.
- Nothing in these terms removes or limits your rights under Malaysia's Consumer Protection Act 1999.
13. Changes to these terms
GAICC may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. This page is provided for transparency. It is not legal advice.
14. Governing law and complaints
- These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
- If you have a complaint, please contact us first at support@gaicc.org so we can try to resolve it.
